Group Advertising – Multiple Sellers Ad

All sellers on Etsy want to advertise, but sometimes the cost of online ads turns sellers off.  Ever thought about joining with other Etsians to place an advertisement together?

Our HandmadeMarketing.org team was sent this wonderful advertising tip from Allyson Dufour Photography (check out the Etsy shop here.)

“Join together with other Etsy sellers of complementary items which are not in the same category as yours,”  Allyson suggests.

“Create a group ad for placement on a website or publication!  For example, a jewelry designer whose work goes well with a clothing designer’s work, along with a sweater/jacket designer, along with a handmade undergarment designer….along with a body lotion seller, etc. It would be terrific for all involved!”

Great idea Allyson!

Spreading around the ad cost would make placing the advertisement an effective element of marketing for all sellers involved.
