That’s a Great idea I just got started on etsy and my shop is still in a very experimental phase, not anywhere nearly as focus and beautifully constructed like most of the other shop’s. I’m a little embarrassed to advertise, but you have to start somewhere. I’ve never been a blogger and the task seems overwhelming and a little daunting to me, pouring out my heart, sharing my interests and opinions, trying to be funny, argh I fear rejection. Plus I’m the typo queen which i hear turns many people off. Thank You for posting another option to explore while I build up the confidence to make my own blog. My big sis had been encouraging me for some time now to start blogging, but my response always was and still is “what would I write about”. My blogs would be much like my shop random, unfocused and ever changing.

We have an established website in addition to a new-ish shop on Etsy and a new blog, so we’re always looking for useful DIY marketing info.

Sometimes it feels like we’ve been asleep for years; why wasn’t I promoting our business through blogs years ago? Better late than never I guess!

We sell handcrafted wooden rings on Etsy. There is not a whole lot of awareness about wooden rings in general – and thus very little awareness about our rings in particular – so we’ve been looking for ways to promote our products.
