Get Social – Utilizing Etsy.com Forums

The forums on Etsy.com are a great place to meet other sells, discuss business, and have fun!

“Check often Forum topics often, especially the “Promotions” threads,” suggests Etsy seller Barbara Gajewski from BarbaraCrochetStudio.   “Post on existing topics or create one. Since I’ve been doing “threads” I got as many hearts in 2 month as I got in one year.”

EtsyMarketing.com viewer Linda Blatchford agrees.  “Visit the Forum Threads and post in there. Chat with other sellers in the threads. It’s not all about what you’re selling. Although it seems like you have to be on the right thread at the right time, the forums are manageable for any Etsy seller, no matter what your schedule looks like during the day.  Start by making a goal.  You may decide for the next week to post to within 20 threads.  No matter how small the goal, utlizing the Etsy.com forums is an easy way to promote your Etsy shop without speading hard earned cash.  Plus, networking with other Etsians  (especially bloggers or those who like to help your shop) is priceless.
