I opened my Etsy shop only days ago, and although I was selling my miniature teddy bears online for a few years already, I did feel a bit overwhelmed when reading all the possible ways to market yourself. This article does remind me to take a break sometimes, and most of all to make a written list to work from one action point to another, slowly but consistently. Thanks for reminding me to breathe...

Very good advice. Someone also once told me to make just one change at a time so that if you see a difference you know what caused it. If you make more than one change and you get results, it is harder to know which of the many changes you made caused the positive (or negative) results.

I think I needed to read this! I just opened my shop this week and I feel like all I have been doing is sitting on the computer figuring how to get more views and ultimately a sale. I have to remember that I just began and I have to take things one step at a time- Thanks!

Very good article. And one that I'll probably need to read more than once. I'll have to bookmark it and/or print it. Thanks!

Amy,
What a nice article!
It made me feel much better - I was not alone in running like a yo-yo from one site to the other.
Now I'm a member of Thread Artists Team what helps me to be focused and more organized.
Thanks for putting this together and share with us. :)
