This was a great article. It’s something I’ve been meaning to do for awhile now. Aside from time, there are two other factors that I think have been keeping me from doing it. The first, which was touched on in this article, is privacy. With blogs and online stores you still have some measure of anonymity. When you make a video, you are really putting yourself out there. That is scary, scary in a ‘they’re all gonna laugh at you’ kind of way. The second reason is like with everything, content is king. Producing even a short video that is worth the attention takes a lot more time. You’ve got to come up with a script, some sort of ’set’ – even if it’s just lighting your work space correctly, and then you have to edit it. I imagine it’s all worth it though.

This is a very interesting, informative and helpful article. I haven’t really considered using youtube to market my business but now I will. I attempted a DIY video in the past, but didn’t go very far with it, but maybe I will try it again. THANKS!!!

I really appreciated this article. I hadn’t considered YouTube but doing tutorials would be a fantastic way to get out there. I’ve done a couple tutorials via pdf but I have had more luck myself with video tutorials.
