Find Your Niche – Vegan Etsy Items

We came across a potential resource for marketing for vegan Etsy sellers.  If you sell vegan items on Etsy.com, use your niche products to your advantage!

Heather, from Etsy shop Vegan Samples is on the look out for wonderful handmade Vegan products.  Your entire Etsy shop doesn’t have to be vegan, but the sample items you send in need to be.

Here’s how it works…  Etsy sellers send in samples and promotional items from their vegan shops and the people at Vegan Craft Samples put them in handmade reusable grocery bags.  The bags are then sold to vegans, aspiring vegans, and curious crafters!

As Heather from Vegan Craft Samples tells us, “Vegan Craft Sample bags are a really great way to get the word out there about your crafts and shop. It is also a great way to reach a market that you never thought possible. More and more people are looking for vegan alternatives to everyday items, and with these sample bags they can find shops who offer them.”

How effective is Vegan Craft Samples?  Do your research!  There is a Vegan Craft Samples blog you can take a look at to see if this is something you could benefit from as a Etsy seller focusing on vegan items.

“We are currently working on our first round of vegan craft sample bags,” Heather says.  “We also advertise on blogs, different groups and message boards, and for the holidays will be advertising in select magazines. It is a really great way to get the word out there about your craft.”

In addition to these benefits, Vegan Craft Samples donates 10% of profits from the bags go to an animal sanctuary which is voted for on the organization’s blog.
